House Bill 786

Sponsored by Rep. Lola Sheldon-Galloway(R - Great Falls)

This bill was passed and signed into law by Gov. Gianforte. It is scheduled to take effect October 1, 2023.

House Bill 786 creates a state-mandated system for clinics to report on abortion pill side effects. This bill did not address any real issues; abortion is one of the safest medical procedures performed in the U.S. with fewer than 1% of patients experiencing serious complications.
